I recently downloaded a plugin that lets you use gradients in your text, signatures, names etc. (I'd have to do the names for you, so that wont happen much)
Anyway the plugin is called Color Smear, and this faq is going to teach you how to use it. If you look up at the posting bar, right next to the smilies you should see a box with pink fading into purple. Click that box, OR simply type [ smear:Color1] Your text here [/smearColor2] where Colors 1 and 2 are hex code format (for example ff000 is bright red, and ffffff is white) If you do not know hex code, or are like me and havent memorized every single code there is (as if anybody would bother to) you can find a easy way to access it by clicking the color wheel between "Font Size" and "B" (bold) then you simply find the color you want and copy the code in the display box.
Here is a example of Color Smear. [ smear:ff0000] My text here [/smear:ffffff] = [smear:ff0000] My text here [/smear:ffffff] (without the spaces)
Here is a even better example: [smear:FF0000]This is show[/smear:ffa300][smear:ffa300]ing a lot of text[/smear:ebff00][smear:ebff00] so you can[/smear:1fff00][smear:1fff00] see how Color[/smear:0014ff][smear:0014ff] Smear works~[/smear:7000ff]
For rainbow, its a little more complicated than regular 2 color. You have to set your first color (in this case red) then go a few words into your sentence, and set your Color2 (orange) then you take Color2 and make it color1 for the next few words, and make Yellow your Color2 and so on (this will be easier to show in code)
[ smear:FF0000] Text [/smear:ffa300][ smear:ffa300] Text [/smear:ebff00][ smear:ebff00] Text [/smear:1fff00][ smear:1fff00] Text [/smear:0014ff][ smear:0014ff] Text [/smear:7000ff]
Note: C.S. will NOT show in the Preview pane, it only shows when you post. Yes that sucks, but I didnt make the program so dont shoot me for it.
