I recommend reading down to my second post on the Once Again Guarding the Wall before reading this.

Stephen looked at the cadet next to see how badly he was going to fail, because there was no way he could know what she was saying.

Suddenly, the cadet turned into a ball of pure darkness, which disappeared the next second.

Stephen didn't know why this happened, but the word 'PLOTHOLE' suddenly came to mind.
